It also has some annoying problems. Our test data shows that the FGHB2866PF is able to warm up quite a bit in the freezer, and can get uncomfortably warm in the fridge's interior shelving. This is evident in our heat maps, which show how much the interior temperatures fluctuate minute by minute. The butter bin in the orange section in the upper right corner is especially warm during our test period. This might not appear to be a problem at first however, the fridge is spending most of the time above 32 degrees.
It's also worth noting that the FGHB2866PF isn't an Energy Star-certified model, which may be a factor for some buyers. But the real problem here is that it's not a particularly great fridge, and the absence of modern features and a sturdy construction make it hard to recommend over better options at this price point.
